Edward's Ferry Cemetery

Not a house, but still very cool. William Hickman owned property near Edwards Ferry in the mid 1700s and grew tobacco. He died in 1766, leaving behind four children.

In this overgrown cemetery are a number of rudimentary graves, mostly unmarked. The most prominent (see picture) is likely that of Elizabeth Burns (E.B.) who died in March of 1776 and was one of William’s daughters. Just a few months from independence!

This is a tough site to find. Major thanks to my buddy Glenn for the geolocation assist!
